Vanessa Kocking studied Fine Arts and Graphic Design at The University of Art Science and Communications UNIACC in Santiago, Chile. In 2001, she moved to Miami, FL where her talents were further recognized with multiple appearances in large international art fairs such as Art Basel and Art Miami (SCOPE, Context, Aqua); and in 2012, she participated in several exhibitions in New York, including Affordable Art Fair (AAF), SCOPE in Chelsea and Context New York. During her time in NYC, she was brought on as a contributing artist for Restoration Hardware in the Flatiron District. She has also presented in AAF Hong Kong and Art Taipei and continues to be nationally represented by prominent galleries and interior designers.

Raised by her German father, a director, and her Chilean mother, an actor, Vanessa comes from a long family line of artists. She is a visual artist that enjoys working with different forms such as Paint, Ink, Digital Art & Mixed Media. Using organic layering of these various medium, Kocking’s work results in a connection between the artist’s inner world, the viewer’s perception, and modern life.
