“By blurring past and present, dream and reality, I wish to create a space for reflection and imagination, leaving you to create your own narrative.”
Award winning photographer, Terése Conway, is mostly known for her atmospheric landscape and botanical images, which reveal settings with a serene and ethereal rusticity.
Terése fell in love with photography while growing up in Sweden, where she took her first darkroom and photography class. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design at Missouri Southern State College in Joplin, Missouri. Two decades of product design expertise in Northwest Arkansas sharpened her ability to create visual balance and harmony through tone, texture, and composition.
“My photography aims to create a personal impression of my surroundings, capturing fleeting characteristics like mood, light, and shadows. I am inspired by Japanese aesthetic ideals like wabi-sabi, which celebrates beauty in every stage and imperfection of nature. As such, I seek to highlight everyday splendor and celebrate the hidden and ephemeral beauty around us.”
