Lon McCroskey

Lon McCroskey is a retired surgeon who lives in Kansas City and who is an avid fine-art photographer whose primary interests are landscape, outdoor, and adventure photography. He is experienced with small, medium, and large-format film photography using traditional darkroom methods to create fine prints.  

His primary focus now is digital photography which offers many advantages over film. He uses full-frame 35mm and medium-format digital cameras to achieve the highest quality images suitable for large prints which rival and surpass those made with film. His goal is to create images which invite the viewer to share the experience of the moment and to enjoy the grandeur and the subtleties of the scene. Hopefully, the best images will provide the viewer with even more than that.
